Directions: Create a web-based news story.
  1. Use one photo that represents your news story.

  2. No single individual can be identified in the photo.

  3. No first and last names are used in the story.

  4. Send a clear message about an event or activity at your school.

  5. Answer who, what, where, when, why, and how questions about your story.

  6. Control standard writing conventions and used them with accuracy and when appropriate. Minor errors do not distract the reader.

  7. Write your story in Microsoft Word and edit it before copying it to html code.Use a centered table width of 660 pixels.

  8. Use the standard centered table width of 660 pixels for this story.

  9. Place this project in a folder called publishing. Create a publishing home page and link to it the homepage of your portfolio.

  10. Create additional links to any of your work that has been published on the internet.

  11. Ask your school webmaster to publish your work on the schools web site.
