Directions: Chart a rowing fitness performance over the course of ten weeks using a spreadsheet. Develop a plan for improving your performance and write an evaluation describing your success. Row a minimum of two times a week.
  1. Create a folder called fitness.

  2. Create an index.html in the fitness folder.

  3. Creat a spreadsheet called rowing.xls.

  4. Create a date, distance, and time column on the spreadsheet.

  5. Chart the day of the rowing event in a column.

  6. Chart the distance of the rowing event.

  7. Chart the times of the 1000m row.

  8. Graph the 1000m row times.

  9. Create a rowing.jpg image of the 1000m row times and place a copy of the graph on your fitness home page.

  10. Link the rowing.xls file to the fitness home page.

  11. Write a paragraph describing how you plan to improve your performance each week and your final goal for the 1000m row.

  12. Describe what you learned about performance after completing 10 weeks of training.
