Directions: Survival is the key to achieving success and using your
ingenuity. Students will construct a device that will trip a mousetrap, which
will pull an egg to safety. There are many specifications and problem solving
techniques involved within this project and students are encouraged too so.
The module is design so student's work together to solve a problem and enrich
each other minds to accomplish the task. Good Luck.

Locate the "Problem sheet," read and take notes
carefully.

Locate and view the "Example," this will create
some ideas.

Locate and view the Elevator shaft that has the
Egg, see instructor.

Begin the design process, use Thumbnail sketches,
save to your portfolio.

Locate the basic "rules sheet," read and take notes
for future reference.

Finalize the thumbnail sketch; begin the Rough
draft explaining their device, which shall include a sketch, a procedure, and a
list of materials. Save to you portfolio.

Begin the construction phase; remember you need
seven triggers or movements.

Upon completion of the construction phase, you may
do a simple test.

Prepare for Test day.

Locate the Digital camera and take a photo, save to
your portfolio.

Locate the module / Project critiques sheet,
complete and save to your portfolio.
