Directions: Create a hand written copy of the following procedures. This document will demonstrate acknowledgement and understanding that safe practices are required in an industrial setting.

  1. Safely utilze an industrial setting to solve real problems, design solutions, and produce physical products.

  2. Always demonstrate proper safety procedures and principles before using equipment and tools.

  3. Always wear safety goggles and protective equipments when working in an industrial setting.

  4. Operate only equipment that you have been trained or tested to use.

  5. Operate only equipment that is working properly.

  6. Report any equipment that may not be operating properly to the instructor.

  7. Understand that running, horseplay, or misuse of tools and equipment can result in injury.

  8. Pay lab fees to cover consumable materials used in the construction of projects.

  9. Support a cooperative work environment, believe discipline is a key element of success, positively effect classmates, and maintain a high level of work ethic.

  10. Always ask about any situation that is not familiar to you.

  11. Mainain a clean work setting.

  12. Respect other’s rights, opinions, and property.
