Directions: Chart a fitness performance over the course of ten weeks using a spreadsheet. Develop a plan for improving your performance and write an evaluation describing your success.
  1. Listen to a presentation about creating spreadsheets and formulas.

  2. Create a folder called fitness.

  3. Chart a fitness performance over a ten week period. For this assignment you will chart the number of push-ups you can do.

  4. Name the file fitness.xls.

  5. Include a total score formula =SUM(B2:B12).

  6. Include an average score formula =AVERAGE(B2:B12).

  7. Create a performance graph and label the X and Y axis Week and Score.

  8. Create a .jpg image of the graph and place a copy of the graph on your fitness home page.

  9. Link the fitness.xls file to the fitness home page.

  10. Write a paragraph describing how you plan to improve your score each week and your final goal.

  11. Describe the success of 10 week training.

  12. Advanced students may chart additional performances.
